My first ASOIAF artwork featuring Sansa Stark and Sandor Clegane, the Hound, in their Battle of the Blackwater scene in King's Landing.

All characters belong to GRRM.

I love this pairing (obviously, if I spent all this time creating this) so please, no character hate in the comments. Thank you!

As much as he HATES being called a knight, it'd be so ironic, and so like Martin, if Sandor was the only character in the series to win the heart of a fair princess.

...And maybe slay a dragon. With his fear of fire, it'd be even more heroic than it usually is.

He's more brutal. But I like this version. Good job

Haha, it's true. The longer I stared at his face while making this, the gentler he looked. It's my romanticism coming out perhaps. Thanks for your comment!!

This is gorgeous, I'm totally blown away by the wildfire through the windows! The details of Sandor's armour are beautiful too, what an incredible scene!

Thank you so much!! I'm really itching to do this scene over again, but I think it should be a 2-year anniversary piece (since I posted this) so I'll have to wait until the fall then....I'm not sure I want to wait that long.

The light coming from the windows is amazing! It is so bright and vivid, yet it is obviously nighttime. I don't know how you managed to pull that off.
